The Hurley Farm B&B is a spacious two story farmhouse welcoming guests since 1958. An Dooneen is superbly located in the picturesque village of Kilcooly Ballydavid, in the heart of the Gaeltacht just off the Wild Atlantic Way featuring scenic views of Smerwick Harbour on the Dingle Peninsula, showcasing the region’s rugged landscape.


Just 11km from the bustling town of Dingle, An Dooneen is an ideal base for visitors to the wonderful west coast of Ireland. With its rural location the bed and breakfast offers guests a calm and relaxing break with coastal scenery and golden sandy beaches are just a short distance away.

Visitors have plenty of outdoor options with the ferry service to the beautiful Blasket Island just 10km from the house. Walkers are also welcome to An Dooneen with the property ideally situated on the glorious Dingle Way walking route.

The Hurley family offer a warm County Kerry welcome to all of their guests. Traditional home-baked brown breads and scones are served along with a hearty breakfast.


We provide spacious double and twin rooms with en suite bathrooms. All rooms have a view of either the gardens, mountains or the sea at Smerwick Harbour, TV and free WiFi.


There are 3 local pubs, which offer food, drink and traditional Irish music.
The town of Dingle is 15 minutes’ away by car where there are numerous restaurants, pubs, craft and gift shops.

Guests can enjoy fishing, golf, water sports, climbing and scenic walks along the Dingle Way Walk. With Gallarus Oratory, an early Christian church among other archaeological sites.
